Hobin Survivor League Rules
Every member of the league will draft 1 Survivor to represent them throughout the season.
The draft order will be randomly generated prior to the draft.
All Players will have their names added to a random name generator by the league commissioner.
The commissioner will use the random name generator and it will be randomized three times to select the draft order. The randomizer video will be shared in the group text.
Once the draft order is established, the person controls that number pick. They may negotiate with other Survivor Players to change their position in the draft.
Once a Survivor is selected that person is unable to be drafted by all remaining players in the draft.
The draft will continue until all Survivors are selected.
In the event that there are more Survivors than there are Players all Survivors who have not been drafted will go into the “Loser Fund Pool”
The Winner of the league will be the person who has been declared the “Sole Survivor” by virtue of receiving the most jury votes at the Final Tribal Council.
The runner-up of the league will be determined by the person who has received the second highest number of votes at the Final Tribal Council.
In the event that two or more people receive the second highest number of votes at the Final Tribal Council, those people will be declared dual runner-ups.
In the event the “Sole Survivor” is a Survivor who is currently in the “Loser Fund Pool” all players will be declared “Losers” for that season and the full prize fund will be donated to the “Loser Fund Pool” recipient.
The “Loser Fund Pool” recipient will be determined before the draft and will rotate from season to season.
There are no courtesy eliminations or re-buy ins. For example, if the player’s Survivor is eliminated due to a medical emergency that player is automatically eliminated from the game.
Grandma has the right to select whether she will keep the spot she was randomized to draft in, or will have a Survivor selected on her behalf after all other players have drafted their Survivor.
If a person is unable to attend the draft, they may select a proxy to draft for them. That decision must be announced in the text group by the person who will be using the proxy as to who their representative will be for the draft night. The proxy has full draft rights of the person who is unable to attend.
If the person who is unable to attend the draft does not select a proxy, then they will be skipped in the draft and will be randomly assigned a Survivor before Survivors enter the “Loser Fund Pool”
The entry fee for the league is $25.00 USD for Survivor 50. The prize breakdown assuming 17 players and 1 Loser Fund Pool:
$350.00 USD for 1st Place
$50.00 USD for 2nd Place
$25.00 USD for 3rd Place
The prize pool will be adjusted if there are more or fewer players for Survivor 50. The buy-in amount has been increased by $5 for Survivor 50 to 1 increase the stakes and 2 make it so we could award a 3rd place prize.
Players are expected to send the league commissioner their full entry fee prior to the start of the league. Failure to pay before the season begins may result in removal from the league.
Have fun.
